The New E&E Locking Shot Pin assures no unwanted motion in the extended position. Even if the air supply is removed, our locking shot pin will remain in its position. The locking feature is most widely used in vertical applications, but will operate in any orientation. This feature has many applications for manual loaded tools where neutral air is required at load. The E&E locking shot pin operates off a single standard valve. The unit comes pre-plumbed. The customer is not allowed to change or remove ANY of the provided plumbing. Weld field immune switching is available for the extend and retract of the shot pin. The manual release allows extend or retract of the unit without air pressure. The unit will lock itself in the extend position if fully manually extended without air pressure. The retract position does not lock. A shimable stop can be provided in the retract.
