Where are Shot Pins Used?
Shot Pins are used in automotive assembly plants and automotive plastic assembly. In automotive assembly plants, shot pins are used in the following areas: conveyor meters, short stroke lifters, induction bonding slides and sheet metal assembly (with floating locating pins). Two standard sizes of Shot Pins are 24mm and 35mm.
The ASP (Air Shot Pin) 24 is a 24mm shot pin. The ASP 24 is used in applications with small material. These are applications where ASP 24’s are used.
